Peek a Boo of Summer

Oh man, the sun is in full bloom. At least it was this past weekend. I already hear my Father in Law but seriously...I am ready for some rain.

My allergies are making me miserable. I would like a good down pour and less extreme weather so my allergies can ease into this instead of being bombarded by dogwood and pollen. I'm partly frustrated because I was unable to visit my yard this weekend due to my allergies instead I spent it inside cleaning.

We have noodle light sabers and swords. They were put to good use this weekend in our front yard. Nana and Dev had a few battles...I think even Grandpa Eddie got in on a battle or two.

Baby Soccer. I didn't go...thinking it would help her get out there more instead of running to me for "one more hug". Those 9am games are kinda brutal for her. I requested those but looking at it maybe 9:30am would be ideal. She does love it. She always says "my tokker game". She just isn't the goal scorer we thought she'd be after watching soccer her whole life.

Play Dates. Boys hate pictures. Dev had a friend, Ben over from soccer. They had a blast playing soccer, Legos and foam sword fighting.

Isa was helping me make her request of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies.

Chop carefully without dropping chocolate pieces on the floor! She's so fun to bake with plus she can really help versus Madi who ends causing more work for me (not that I don't love that too).

Mmmm.

I also made Annie's Eats Bacon Lover's Mac and Cheese.

Oops. I hate messy floors. Dang ittttt.

Then I didn't stop...I made Browned Butter Banana Strawberry Bread.

Daddy requested more sugar. I thought it was delicious.

What a yummy weekend. Look at you, no chocolate on the floor..you're ready for a dog.

On the other hand they do clean up everything else you drop so your floors stay clean of food, but not dog hair and dirt... ;)

I love how Dev and Nana play so hard with eachother. P.S> Thank you so much for sharing all the goodies! I thought the bread was yummy, but my kids were like yours and a little confused about the strawberries. haha
