Last Swim Lesson of the Season!

Friday was our last lesson with Teacher Jasmine this season. She goes to Firefighter School and until her schedule has a groove we won't be having lessons with her. She IS however going to help out and watch Madi a couple times a month while I volunteer in Dev and the girls' class. Teacher Jasmine is the best! The girls (the big ones) were extremely sad to not see her every week.

The girls did a lap swim while she did a private lesson with the little kids. The girls practiced their strokes - especially their dreaded Butterfly Stroke. They're improving every time - it's awesome to see!

The boy was unfocused. His sister is going to surpass him in swimming if he doesn't get together. He loves swimming but doesn't so much like learning.

Madi's underwater Rocket Ship.

Nana's hair was fried this summer between swimming practically every day then being outside so much. The last 2 months we've had the swim cap on but someone who doesn't want to get a hair cut but really needs one. Sorry, Nana!

She went from scared poopless of the water to a mermaid in 3 weeks. How did this happen?! I'm so grateful that she conquered her fear and that she's learning how to swim. My little water baby.

Her Starfish Float.

See? Unfocused. He has a fun personality that is contagious but Teacher Jasmine has a love/hate relationship with his goofiness. She loves how cute it is but hates that he's not learning much!

She thinks she's swimming on the stairs until she scraped her nose. I only told her 5 times to stop until she scraped her nose and stopped!

We are so sad lessons are over at our favorite outdoor pool but we hope to continue when we can so the kids don't forget so much. We love you, Teacher Jasmine!

I know this was hard for you to get up and get the kids up everyday, but what a big pay off!
