4th of July!

We hung out at home for 4th of July...low key style. Just the way we like it. Grandpa Eddie came over for dinner and after dinner the kids went on an adventure. Daddy stayed home with me - he pulled weeds and I finished my fruit pizza.

pictures via Isa G. hence the blurry...she must've had it on the wrong setting but if you live in the area you know this hang out. Thanks, my photographer in training! Love you!!

Revelations Yogurt. I'm thinking the fact they weigh the yogurt could be dangerous. Dangerously expensive at $.0.45 a lb. Don't go hungry!

Happy Eaters! Thanks, G.E. for taking the kiddos as usual they had a blast.

My Fruit Pizza. My dough is dark because I use whole wheat flour and evaporated cane sugar vs enriched white flour and white sugar. Still yummy all the same.

FIREWORKS.

I'm not a fireworks fan so I took some pictures that always turn out fuzzy and dark then went in and folded laundry. Grandpa and Daddy helped the kiddos with their small explosives.

So happy!

I think Daddy has the most fun! We had a couple duds but all in all the kids were happy with our small display of fireworks!

I don't know why but Dev put on his pjs but he was elated...a little too elated if you ask me. I think he has a small pyro fascination. At least I hope it's small.

It was a relaxing 4th and I'm not overwhelmed with a to do list that's super long because I got a few things done. That feels even better. The kids started swim lessons and they have a few play dates planned.

How was the fruit pizza? It looks so yummy!

Em put herself to bed when we got home for the big Seattle fireworks, Kaylin stayed in and watched TV with me and Pay watched (from Haley's window) Dao, Haley and Amara light off some fireworks and sparklers. The kids were up so late! I bet you had your kiddos to bed nice and early. :)

I made the same fruit pizza for 4th of July! So good! I love Our Best Bites. Have you gotten their cookbook? I got it at Costco last month and love it! Making their sweet and sour meatballs for dinner tonight and their Orange and Cranberry Chicken Salad sandwiches tomorrow! Yum. :)
