Our kids just did their annual Jog A Thon Fundraiser.
Our dear family and friends emptied their pocketbooks in support so we are working hard on our thank you notes. This is Dev's first time writing a full sentence vs Thank you. I feel thank yous (written) are certainly a way to show our kids to be appreciative for what they have.
Of course, he can find a million other things to do right now. But, after talking about how fortunate we are to have family and friends who care about our school and supported us he gets it.
Although currently, we are having some issues as he wants it to be perfection so at his level of writing it becomes frustrating and "finger" spaces...we won't even go there. We are working super hard though and...he knows the money he ran for will be used for his classroom. So he is understanding how important it is to thank those who help us.
Thanks all!
