Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego?

Did you ever watch that? Well, anyway...it's kinda like "Where's Waldo?" - my point is I feel like I've been absent from the blog all the while complaining about folks not updating their blogs...how lame am I?

Basically...we've been busy but not busy. Does that even make sense? So, yes we've been busy - Isa is starting indoor this March with some friends in her soccer league (that she normally plays against). And, Isa's big Oliver play is this month and I am chairing the Silent Auction for it (THANKS to all of you who have donated!). There isn't much maintenance with that except that I pick up items from folks and follow through with communicating with the producers. We have lots of fun items and I'm very excited for it all!

I started Chess Club at the girls' new school and we're heading into our 2nd session! SUCCESS! YAY! Nana is enjoying it and I enjoy being with her there. She has a musical coming up to ShareBears. She is crossing her fingers extra tight for this role she wanted as Furrball.

Dev's last class of Gymnastics is coming up...and we're opting to hold out on FA spring session and possibly move to another school because the FA's performance takes up way too much Gymnastic time and my little man is not into performing as much as he is into doing tumbles.

Madi had a big teeth cleaning today...she actually has a cavity but because of her age we have opted to not have her undergo anesthesia and will be bringing her in once a month to her Aunty Sarah clean and excavate the cavity. Today was her first teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment and it went well. Her vocab is blossoming and I know I've said that for almost the last year but I'm cereal (as Dev says for serious). She is babbling and I KNOW once she starts spouting sentences we are going to wish we hadn't wished so hard for her to speak. We kept saying "it'll come. She has too many siblings speaking for her." Which is true but there is a point now where she literally screams. Not so cute I have to say.

I'm also involved with the school district as their EAACH (basically working with the school in our school district to integrate the different cultures and educating other families on the uniqueness of our community) rep for our school and we've got some big projects lined up so...I have been busy working with the Superintendent on that.

WHEN I'm not doing that...I'm doing not a lot. When I say not a lot I mean I'm cuddled in bed with the kids at 8:30pm. Lame, right? I don't know if allergies are hitting me or what but I'm wiped by the end of the day.

What am I excited about?

Reading...yes, it's a book - not a Kindle. It's a hardback book and Denise C. from the C6 has been organizing a bookclub within our little family/friend circle. I have to say I wasn't able to make it to the first 2 meetings but this is my month. I'm excited for the book choice and I'm excited to go to the meet spot and I'm hoping they have this strawberry white chocolate cake I love...I know food and me are like hand in hand. What can I say? I'm a sucker for quality YUMMY food.

Hope you're all doing well and can't wait to share all that we've been up to in pictures...

It's so hard to find a good groove, when you and the kids are starting new things. Usually once you get into the groove it all changes again and you have to start over! I think you handle it all so well!
I still haven't started the book yet! I'm hoping to start it this weekend.
