Daddy got held up with a client in Seattle (enjoying a beer and talking about future work while touring this amazing condominium building. Can't blame him for that! So, I putzed around not really having much to do and ran errands on my own.
We met up and had some late HH at Duke's (their HH is reasonable and they have sustainable-all natural ingredients!). Blue Moon for the man and Cucumber Mojito for moi (SO GOOD!). We wandered the book store then headed home to battle each other on Wii Sports Resort!
Saturday was SUPER BASKETBALL SATURDAY - my nephew, my brother and sister all had games so we traveled around town for their 9am-11am-12pm games! Because I had to be in the area by 8am I completely forgot my camera! SO frustrating. We ate dinner at my parents and hung out with our little cousins from the L4. It was a fun night - my sister, Gabby is going through ballet and tap exams so I was re-living my ballet exam days with her. Can I just say I don't think my legs have done that kinda of jumping in a lot (a lot) of years? So, now I am suffering from Wii Arm and leg cramps! HA!
Sunday, Daddy had a soccer game and then, we promised Isa to take her skating since that was her mock party. Daddy and Dao got on their skates to take all 11 kids (C6's oldest, Haley brought a friend then So-So and her sister, Olivia came too!) skating. Denise and I came...to take pictures of course!
He changed his mind about half way through after Madi was done and skated his booty off until he hit the wall of "I'm done" and was super cranky. Him and Pay shared skates. They both tried it and seemed to enjoy - I was just happy they tried! Then, after my son's meltdown - we knew our 3 hours of skating was done. It was from 1-4:30pm - we left at 4pmish. That seemed like plenty of skating time. Poor Daddy has some major blisters!
Thank you Daddy and Dao for taking all the kids! They all had fun!
Olivia, Madi and Daddy skating! :)
Nana was determined to skate on her own. She didn't want anyone else's help and she did great! I think Daddy missed not having her need him. She is usually the one who relies on Daddy the most so for her to do this on her own was an accomplishment and sad "growing up" moment all together. But, we are so proud of her! She even went out on the speed skate - Daddy had to pull her off because she is definitely isn't ready for that! We admired her confidence though!
Em watching Dev play Star Wars II on his DS while she slurped down her slushy.
My big girl. She wants to keep with her big sisters and brother (+all their friends) so badly. I just want her to enjoy being her at her rightful age of 2. She is our little spit fire of determination! You can't tell her what she can and can't do (ie potty training - that girl potty trained herself!).
Whew! Now to catch up on house stuff...Happy Tuesday!

What nice Daddies. Seriously, I don't know if I could see Bryan doing something that.
Your kiddos have grown so much just in the past year that I've been reading your blog. I love all the stuff you do with them. Just get up and go make memories. In fact I got Jackson a zoo membership for Christmas after reading that you had one and loved it.
Aww, thanks - Nikki! There are some cool free things - Jackson's a bit young but did you and Bryan know that SAM and Burke are free the 1st Thurs of the month? You should totally go - SAM has a great exhibit right now - Nana is going with school this Friday. :)
