Okay, you all know my little sibling circle - right? For those who don't or if you just are plain confused by my life here's a mini run down. My Mom re-married and I have two siblings that are 12 and 10 on my Mom's side. On my "Dad" (I use Dad loosely because we aren't super close)'s side I have twin siblings, Darbs and O. Their Momma, Liana is awesome about sharing my brother and sister with me (gracias, Liana!).
Okay, so this is my (one of) baby brother, O's basketball game. The twins started high school this year...I know, YIKES! And, being on a high school basketball team is a big deal. The practices and games are a huge commitment. He reminds us all on Facebook how early he gets up and how tired he is by Friday. Well, we promised we'd travel to the other side of the world (okay, maybe like 55 miles - but still dang, it's far!) to see a game.
I prepared myself to take the girls out early from school like 50 minutes early so we could get a good running start. I left my house at 2:45pm knowing the game was at 5:15pm so I could pick up the girls at 3pm and bypass some traffic.
Pshhhh, man I was in crazy traffic and ended up detoured + late. We got there about 5:25pm. Urgh. I hate being late.
BUT, we saw his game! It was a hard loss. They had beat this team twice and lost by almost 10 points. It was the last game of the season so I felt bad for my brother. He did have a 3 point shot to help boost their score so that was exciting. I got all teary eyed because he was dang proud as were all of us!
