Isa's Orchestra Concert!

How very proud am I? SO proud. Isa's first orchestra concert was this last Tuesday and she did so well! She has a passion for orchestra and loves going (they give up their 2nd recess for orchestra).

She had the longest day ever that day. She had orchestra practice at 8:10am, play practice right after school until 6:15pm then tuning at 6:45pm. So, Dev and I brought her dinner. Daddy and Grandpa Eddie met us at the concert so Madi didn't have to be there so long. Diva's patience is not as it should be...let's put it that way. She's getting better but that day she also refused a nap. Ugh, she is just getting to that no-nap age. :( I wouldn't mind at all if she skipped nap time and had quiet time but was still pleasant. By 5pm with no nap she's a monster.

Moving on to our Isa...

I brought her clothes for her concert and dinner. She was so excited that she woofed it down and was in the orchestra room before anyone else.

Reviewing her songs.

Tuning before they start...

The C6 were there because it was a Beginning Band and Orchestra Concert and their eldest, Haley was playing the flute in band. Nana and Em got to sit with each other while their sissies played!

My batteries were super low so we didn't record her songs but I did get her tuning. :)

Can you tell who is over it? I took her potty and when we were on ground level she danced in front of all the bleachers. She loves to dance and I WISH I would've gotten that on video. She was gracefully dancing the middle school orchestra.

We are so excited for many more concerts to come for Miss Isa! Thanks, Grandpa Eddie for driving out and experiencing this with us! We are so proud!

Isa looks so grown up. I remember those orchestra concerts. I hope they played ode to joy!

We were so lucky to get to watch her first orchestra concert! She looked so pretty! You should have taken a pic with her and the beautiful tulips you gave her!
Madi was so funny! I actually do have video of her dancing her booty off, but I started taping sideways for some reason then turned the camera the right way?
It was a special night for sure!
