Santa arrived at our house late after the kids were all snuggled in their beds. Do you see the milk, cookies and carrots (for the reindeer) that the kids left Santa? He gobbled them up!

The big kids got up at 8am to see what Santa brought them. Tiny didn't quite get it all but was excited to open presents this year!

Santa brought cosmetic bags for you? He must know you throw your chapstick, brush and hair things all over the place in your backpack!? He must've thought you need to get organized, Isa. Smart man. :)

Mister wasn't fully awake either...he was dying to open presents. Dying so badly that earlier this month when I wrapped he DID open one. What a stinker! He can read - it was the only time I regretted teaching him. :)

And they're done.

Santa brought Madi her own markers and mini princess poster. Do you see her necklace? She's on my lap now and pointed it out to me that she's STILL wearing the necklace Santa brought her with all favorite princesses. She knows exactly where Cinderella is
(her most favorite princess ever created).
We had an hour before we needed to head out to my Mom's house. So, Husband went back to sleep for a bit because he isn't used to drinking...let alone drinking wine. Wine is a bit of a sneak attack - you think you're fine then BAM! you're wasted! At least in our experiences that's how it's gone down. Anyway, we ended up a bit late because the kids were slow moving (as were we). We got there 20 minutes later than planned not too bad.

OH the madness. This year I made them open in shifts because I hate not knowing who gave what (especially because I make my kids do thank YOUs).

Dev got his batcave from Papa and Grandma. His cousin, Livi was so sweet to happily play with him. She got to be Robin and he was Batman (of course)!
We ate a brunch and early dinner at my Mom's house. She made all her usuals and the kids gobbled it up. Again, no pictures (what is with me?) - I was hungry instead of thinking. :)
Last stop on the Christmas express was Grandpa Wade and Grandma Kim's (Husband's Mom). Wade has a daughter and grandaughter that live deep south so we meet in the middle since we live pretty far north at Wade and Kim's home.

Madi's new rocking chair from Grandpa and Grandma.

Husband's brother's kids (Andy and Brandon), Husband's Step-Sister's daughter (Kyra) and our lovies all happy from Christmas! Can't you feel the joy? :)

Kyra is SO sweet to play Barbies with Nana.

All the kids watching Black Beauty before our long trek home.
The little ones were all cuddled up with Grandma Kim reading Christmas stories. I thought it was so sweet that I had to video it.
