Christmas Crafts and FUN with Siblings, C6 and L4!

Right now, I have 12 kids in my house. YEP, 12. You guys are all thinking - I'm crazy. I'm thinking this is SO fun! I have my brother and sister over - my Mom re-married had two kids that I am quite a bit older than but the great part about that...my kids have a blast with them - hence the good time today with them, the C6 and the L4. Denise's sister is my Aunt (my Mom's brother married her sister)...are you confused? So, C6 kids and my kids are cousins with L4 but the C6 and us are not directly related but none the less we are all family.

Okay, back to our Super Holiday FUN - I had planned on the big girls helping me bake cookies and make baked ornaments and everyone else would play...well, we did a lot of both. Everyone did everything.

Em and Nana started off making bookmark presents.

Haley and Gabby (my sister) getting ready to make baked ornament dough.

Pay, Dev and Livi playing Batman (the living room was their cave). Where's Madi? Well, she tried playing and Dev was sure that was not a good idea. So sure that when Pay tried to help Madi out Dev ended up hitting Pay instead of his sister...he shouldn't be trying to be so forceful with anyone but he was having a good time with Pay and Livi. Little sisters could potentially ruin that. I get that but...that's when you call Mommy not try to force her out on your own. Our play date started with an early time out. Bummer, right? Hands are not for hitting...one day I'll stop saying that. One day.

I love how the girls took control of Guitar Hero and let the boys take a back seat!!

Painting their baked items (Haley decided not to make ornaments - but gifts for her friends).

Um...wrapping their handmade gifts for their Mommies and Daddies.

2nd to big girls' turn to bake. Isa hanging with Gabby gives Isa an opportunity to be little sister - her and Kay did lovely at the "little" sister job. All in fun - I think Gabby enjoyed having a little sister vs a little brother for these last few hours.

Look how crafty they got?!

These girls took notes and created different things - they molded snakes, faces and letters.

Little girls' turn. Theirs was more of a swamp of paint over dough but they had a blast doing it!
The trade off? My Aunt and Denise took my 3 big kids to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks Squeakel. My kids are peeing in their pants in excitement! What a fun holiday thing to do today! Thank YOU so much, Aunty Andria and Denise! Now going to attempt some solo baking. :)

Thanks, guys for hanging with us - it was a blast!

Thank you so much for having the girls over! They had so much fun at your house (as always)! I'm especially glad that Gabby and Haley got to spend some time together!
