Bad Blogger

I have been gone for almost 10 days...wtfreak? So unlike me. In my defense, I had a hell of a week. And, when I say hell...I totally mean it.

I had a minor procedure on Monday that made me sick through Wednesday - pain medications make me sick to my stomach. Literally. Then, coming home from the doc on Thursday - I picked up a childhood friend, Erica who was here from Germany and was going to spend the weekend with us. On our way home, my van decided to make it's very last trip. Yes, our minivan is a goner. Hence, we have 4 kids and a station wagon to work with to transport them. Not ideal. My childhood friend was here and I couldn't take her to do the fun touristy stuff we usually do. Maybe it was meant to be because I was still feeling pretty crummy anyway.

So, super soccer Saturday turned into a jumble of events. Thank the high heavens for our Grandpa Eddie and the C6! They helped us shuffle the kids around to games and pictures. Yep, that's right we had 3 team pictures scheduled on that glorious super soccer Saturday. And, because Husband was in every one of those pictures it required some orchestrating on all parties involved (Me, C-6 Fam, G.E. and Erica helped watched the tiniest one).

We survived the wet Saturday-picture-taking-super-soccer weekend. Thank you, C-6, G.E. and Erica!!

I am soooo sorry about the van! What a pain in the booty! But I must say, that if it hadn't of happened, you would never of rested (not that you really rested anyway!) and you need to take care of yourself lady!

@andrea: well, my father-in-law is going to rebuild the transmission the kit is only a couple hundred it's the labor that costs...so we're going that route with our move and having to buy something used...this seems like a better solution for now. :)
