Weekend Madness 2

I am calling these posts Weekend Madness. I guess because there was something going on each day and in the midst of trying to pack... and I think that's madness. Pure madness. Nana's Birthday was a success and she loved every moment of her fanciness. Saturday was jammed pack with our last soccer game, followed by our Popsicles in the Park and award ceremony then a long afternoon of yard work here at home.

Husband got to go with Dao to a Sounder's game in Seattle. We got a call at 6pm from Chrissy (a Co-Op Momma) saying that they had tickets they weren't going to be able to use and thought of us! How awesome possum was that? Too cool. So, Husband finished mowing the lawn and headed out to the game by 6:45pm. They ended up on the Club Level to their pleasant surprise. If they would've shown up 30 minutes prior to the game starting they would have gotten free beer and a buffet. They were so bummed they missed it! Chrissy and Will, you rock for sharing those tickets with us! You made two very happy husbands!! I took the kids to Barnes and Noble to chillax and get some summer workbooks. I found a wonderful 90 day activity book for each of the kiddies to finish this summer! They were pleasantly excited about sharpening their minds this summer. We'll see when they actually have to sit down and do them.

Late this Sunday morning we attended Mass for our cousin, Luc at our local church. He was receiving his First Communion. He was so proud and this is a big step in Catholicism.

Nana begging me to take a picture of her. I was trying to get a picture of Luc receiving his communion but Madi was asleep on me and come to find out we weren't supposed to be taking pictures anyway.

My sweet niece. Who (might I add) is getting ginormous! She is so sweet.

The outdoor procession.

Luc beaming on his very special day.

I have accomplished zero things (besides our yard) since Thursday evening relating to our move. I am going to not make myself crazy tonight and tackle my color coded packed boxes tomorrow. My brain won't let me take on anything else. We are going to relax with Wubbzy - throw the kids the tub and gear up for our LAST week of school! More exciting posts to come...you would think with me saying I have to do so much that I would be not updating my Blog but for me this is therapy. I won't feel like there's something else hanging over me.
