Madi + Gymnastics = Happy Toddler

Oh, to be the youngest in a large family. Everything takes forever. You are always trailing behind the pack. Not Miss Madi. She makes exceptions to all rules including the Gymnastics Play Zone at our local recreational center. The Zone is for kids 2-5 years old and she is a whopping 22 months old. Miss Marilyn is awesome and let her in to play with Mommy there. We now get to participate with Dev and Pay at Gymnastics! I love this class because it's an hour and Miss Marilyn packs a ton into that hour. Even some structured group time with singing and dancing. Dev needs that with me home with all the time (I sing but he doesn't really participate) but he started to get into this last week which makes me so happy!

This is a face of a happy toddler getting to do Gymnastics like Pay and her big brother, Dev.

Pay and Madi dancing on the large trampoline.

Why is she always wanting to take her clothes off?!

Miss Marilyn let her swing on the rope too (she did it 3x!). She loved the rope!

At the end of class, Miss Marilyn stamps all of the kids and gives them coloring sheets to take home with them. Pay and Dev love to have their feet and arms stamped.

Madi was curious what was being passed out. She was more patient (than usual) for everything at Gymnastics. It was like she new this was a special status and she had to be a big girl.

Madi getting her stamp and coloring sheet.

Pay and Dev love this class and it's a lot more fun for me now that Madi is allowed in there to play! This last week, Dao (Pay's Daddy) was off that day by chance and did most of the bouncing with all the kids. So, I was able to chillax with Denise. It just puts my mind to ease to know she can participate. It makes my afternoon go smoothly because she is out like a light by noon.

PS Denise, where's the pictures of Dao and bouncing? I'll be reading your blog for those! And, thanks for letting me take pictures with your camera (again!).

Love those pigtails. Does it bother Dev that his little sister is moving into his territory? Ah to be that age again.

Dao was so stinkin' crazy on the tumble track that the pics were all blurry!
