Just can't get enough!

I can't get enough of this glorious weather!! My kids are so ready for summer (I haven't said that enough, have I?) and shoot, so am I!!! Oops, there I go again with the unnecessary punctuations but shoot, it deserved 3 exclamation points! I'm working on that. Yesterday was Nana's last game of the season. Wa HOO!!! Bittersweet as always but we will be getting together for one last Cannonballs gathering this Saturday for bowling. We love bowling.

Earlier yesterday Dev and Madi spent the morning with cousins, Kae and Kurt. Kurt's here from college and they took them swimming! Dev sun-tanned (as he told me) with Kurt. It was also important for Dev to remind me that they both took their shirts off because big boys take their shirts off. I then could not take the bathing suit off of Madi. I changed her diaper when we got home and she insisted on wearing the suit so when it came to leave for the game...she was still wearing her suit. Thank goodness it stayed warm enough for her to enjoy her bathing suit without freezing (we were close to the ferry docks so sometimes it gets cold). I brought clothes just in case (Baby Legs and a dress + hoodie) but all I could get on her was Baby Legs.

And, as usual she had her own agenda at the game. She wanted to watch the skateboarders next to the soccer field. I really wanted to watch the game so we had some tears when I had to bring her to the other side to watch the game...Isa and the other older siblings were playing in the track field dirt (yuck!).

Last huddle. I caught Ellie in the middle of her "cool dude" peace sign.

We had snack. Monkey Munch, grapes and apple juice for the Cannonballs (the bags you see here were extras for the siblings).

These were for the Cannonballs. Nana decorated them with Fancy Nancy stickers. Which also reminds me, Nana's 7th birthday is coming up. She is requesting a Fancy Nancy Surprise Party. How do you do that?

--------------------------------------------------
Oh, yes I requested a last photo opt for the Cannonballs.

Nice team picture for Momma!

Okay, goofy one for you!!

I so have to make that monkey munch! I keep seeing it everywhere and I bet Emma would love to snack on it. Thanks for the reminder and also for posting a link! :)

It is fun and relatively easy to make. The hard part was letting it cool away from Madi - I foolishly left it on the dining table. Why? I can't really explain what my thought was except that it was 8:30pm and maybe my brain shut off.

Oh yes, I love party planning! Last month I was the oldest guest at an 8 year old's tea party. If you need more ideas, I've got a lot!
