Husband came home early enough to do the evening run around. We had soccer and Girls Scouts that evening. Afterwards, him and Dev went to Chipotle to get me my favorite burrito but him doing the run around so I could chill was a treat in itself. Then, for the last 2 weeks I've been eating out, drinking coffee and receiving special goodies from all of my dear friends. Thank you, dear friends!!!
That weekend was also Mother's Day. I celebrated Momma's Day, Saturday evening with a new book from Half Price Books' clearance $1 section - I ♥ that section - with a gift card received from a bestie. You also see that I enjoyed some Tea (Tazo's Joy) in my Tea for One (by Tupperware from my Tupperware bud, Mari) with my favorite Maple Cookies from Trader Joe's. I chillaxed in my bed reading with all the kiddies (Madi was back and forth more).

Now to the Gibson Marathon, this spring it feels like a marathon with 3 in soccer (this is Dev's first spring playing soccer) and with the end of the year wrap ups. It's getting a little hard to keep up. Husband's work has picked up (that I can not complain about, very thankful for it actually) a lot and softball season has started along with his indoor team. He coaches the 3 teams but is just an assistant for Isa's team but still it's a Marathon.
Here's last night's Marathon:
Isa has Drama Club right after school on Wednesdays. Afterwards, we went to the Co-Op BBQ. The Co-Op holds an end of the year BBQ every year at City Park so we are no strangers to this. It was however my first time with a mobile baby at that park. It scares me because the park is large and to keep an eye on every one is a challenge. We weren't there long because Nana had soccer practice at 6pm so we had to meet Daddy at the field.
Madi loves to swing!! In this picture she doesn't look too happy because I wasn't swinging her fast enough and I thought that was funny! Fearless-Dare Devil Madi wants me to swing her higher?! She always has to keep with the big kids.
After we dropped Nana off we headed home to get Isa ready for her Bridging for Girls Scouts from a Brownie to a Junior. Daddy and Nana made it just in time to see Isa bridge after Nana's soccer practice.
Isa crossing her bridge in Girls Scouts to Junior-hood.
After that we had to leave so Daddy could head off to his indoor game at 9:20pm. Whew! I'm tired just re-living that!

Today, it was Mommy and Madi Day. Dev had a play date at his buddy, Liam's house this morning so Madi and I went out to downtown Edmonds to walk around. We stopped at Starbucks and had a drink together (the last of my birthday gift card!).
I was wondering what was so interesting outside...
Her special treat with Mommy, whipped cream with chocolate drizzle makes Miss Madi very happy!! We always try to split the kids up for individual time when we can sometimes it's planned sometimes it's not but we treasure the individual time as much as our family time together.

TJ's Maple cookies? I've never see those. I'm going to have to look for them. I loved the Shopaholic series, but sometimes she can seriously get on my nerves...have you seen the movie yet?
Love the Le Creuset pot! I love looking at all the colorful (and expensive) items they carry. Cassaroles would be so much better in a purple dish!
i haven't seen the movie, i just went to the $1 RedBOX to find it and i guess it's not out?! is it a series?? wow, she was getting on my nerves too...i might have to swing by 1/2 price books to get the other books (it's 20% off this weekend).
PCC had a killer deal ($25 off!!) so i couldn't pass it up. i'm collecting colorful bake/cookware.
