I will never doubt the imagination my children have. They come up with the most creative games sometimes they're a bit unfocused and disorganized (and messy) but none the less very creative.
We had Pay over this last Tuesday. Dev and her made up 3 games. It melted my heart to see them playing like that. No TV just good old fashioned F-U-N.
- Doctor: she would say "check me" and he would walk up to her with a magnify glass (the one I use to fix my glasses...very tiny) and checked her up and down. He would say "your toes are good, your legs are good, your tummy is hungry..." then they would stop and ask for a snack and then move on to another game.
- Salon: Dev had her lie down in his bed so he could brush her hair, blow dry her body and paint her nails. She would get up to hug Madi and he would follow her "Miss, I'm not done with your nails!!" so she would stick her fingers out and let him finish.
- Dollhouse: Madi and Nana got dollhouses from Grandma this year so I set them up in the living room and they played with them but not with the traditional Fisher Price people they used Dev's Star Wars Lego characters. They lived in Madi's and the Fisher Price people lived next door. Pay was Princess Leia and Dev was everyone else. It was their castle and R2D2 would kiss Princess Leia good bye before he had to leave to fight bad guys. She was a good woman and had dinner ready when he got home.
I got so much done that day (beginning of school and Co-Op = lots of stuff to do) and I thank Pay for keeping my younger 2 so busy. They didn't come up to breathe they were having so much fun! The time came too quickly for me to take her home and head to Chess Club with the big girls. Thanks, Pay for coming over!!!
