I fully respect Mother Nature's effort to force people to do nothing. To stay in their homes and play with their children without a care because
what else are they going to do? Yesterday (and Wednesday night) we did just that. Daddy got home after a 2 hour commute to home Wednesday night. He was traveling from Renton to Edmonds. He said it was a parking lot on the freeway...as soon as he walked in the door, I said "you didn't leave when I told you to!" But to my surprise, he did! He hung out Thursday...the snow was still falling and at about 9:30pm the kids all decided they wanted to play in the snow. Crazy...I was happy watching them play by the living room window in the warm house with Madi
asleep.
Yesterday afternoon, Madi took her first adventure out into the snow as a walking toddler. We bundled her up in snow pants and fleecy warm gear. She ventured off with Daddy.
Daddy getting a snowy snuggle from Madi.

This is when I should've used the flash. Poo. But you get the idea...sisters playing in the snow.

Isa and Kendie found this in the Bob the Builder hat that was outside from the day Jules and Dev were playing outside. It was leaves in the hat (that the boys were collecting) and with the snow and ice it froze inside the hat. The girls popped it out.

Madi didn't want to be put down in the cold snow...after this picture she was brought inside so Daddy could play.

You guys got way more snow than we did!
How nice it must have been to have the Daddy home to take the Kiddos outside to play!
