Nana and Dev's Blog Debut

Since this last Tuesday, Dev has been crazy about my camera. I have a camera on my cell phone that I was pacifying him with while we waited for the girls Tuesday after school. I was anticipating that it would take me 30 minutes to get up to their school when it normally takes me 5 minutes. Anyway, we were at their school an hour early. So, we played in the car and pre-filled out Mommy's planner. After awhile, you can imagine my 1 year old and 3 year old's boredom level. It reached level HIGH by 20 minutes in. So, I turned to desperate measures and whipped out my cell phone. I let Madi play with it first-she can work the camera if I close it the camera faces her and she can see herself. Very exciting to her. That kept her busy for awhile and then she wanted to read books.

While we read...I let Dev play with my cell phone. He was cracking up at the pictures he could take. He loved capturing me telling him to stop taking pictures of me in mid conversation with my mouth wide open and my eyes closed. Thank GOD I don't have Internet on my phone. No one will ever see his random pictures except for us. But, I gave him and Nana the real camera yesterday. They made a great team together snapping unsuspecting family members and trying to capture what they felt was important to talk about in their blog they'd be writing. Dev asked me why it's my camera and not Daddy's. I said because Daddy doesn't take pictures. I take pictures to save our memories forever and to write about our life to share with our family and friends.

Him and Nana decided to tell a story...here it is.

A Gingerbread House because we always always like to make this house every day (every year). Isa, me and Dev made this together. Santa=Isa, Rudolph=Nana and the monster (aka Abominable Snowman)=Dev.
Then they reenacted their gingerbread house scene and Dev chased them around the house as the monster.

Nana's Artwork. Yesterday's (past years) Christmas Artwork.

I took a picture of the snow. It's so pretty.
It was still snowing during her picture taking we got another 2-3 inches that morning/afternoon.

My sister in her pajamas.
Isa would like to state that she was not happy that her sister and brother we're taking random pictures of her when she had just got out of bed.

Me!!!!
Nana is a stronger believer in using flash. She said that her pictures are brighter that way.
