Dec-the-Cookies

My Mr. Dev waiting patiently for the green sprinkles.

Today is well...Play Date Day at the G6 House. If you're going to have 1 extra kid why not 2 or 3 more? Make every kid in the house happy with a friend. I'll see if I feel the same when Tiny is asking for friends over. :) But, today was mellow with Dev and Madi. Dev wanted Pay over but Pay was getting over a cough and for fear that we would get it Pay stayed home. Very thoughtful of them. But, we missed Pay today. So, we took on other duties. Laundry. Clean Up. Put a thoughtful meal together...if Tacos and Quesadillas are thoughtful. It is Layna's first time over. Isa went to her house last week and I'm all for nurturing friendships. Nat and Nana are playing together but that's not new. They play together 2-3x a week. Nat lives 3 streets down so that helps with the frequency of play dates and they play wonderfully together. A big plus for the play dates...Mommies are more likely to agree to frequent play dates if the kiddies get a long well and keep each other busy.

Isa and Nanny.

Layna passing red and green M&Ms to Nana

Nat concentrating on her decorating.

When Nana goes over to Nat's house she always comes home with cupcakes or some other kind of treat. Today it was our turn. She came over to make Christmas cookies. Layna is a lot of fun and I love to hear them giggle. :) 3rd Graders have a very squeaky quality to their giggle. It's cute.
