I had to get some Knitting tips from my Aunty who is a sewing Goddess as well as a Knitter, Crocheter...she does it all. You can find her on her site or at the Fremont and Edmonds Markets. She gave me a new messenger that I heart. I can fit everything I need in there without looking like I'm carrying the world in my bag. So, Nana and Isa have learned how to make a slip knot and cast on. We're on our way to making our first row. We have been practicing and practicing. So, thanks-Aunty!
*My camera is out of batteries. As soon as I can I will take pictures of their knitting.*
Isa scrapped with me yesterday. It was a lot of fun. Nana (was overly tired from a sleepover), Dev and Madi were all napping and we got some good scrapping time in. The more I sat there with her and gave her ideas the more detailed her pages became. She had a lot of fun looking through books and adding stuff to old pages and creating new ones with different themes. It was great. Denise C. let me borrow some good/simple ideas and she used some of those to come up with certain sayings and themes for her pages. It was a lot of fun for me too.

We need to have a knitting get-together. I've been wanting to re-learn how to knit but I haven't really gotten anywhere. I haven't even picked up any needles or yarn yet.
And I want to buy one of your aunt's messenger bags. I need a bag. Right now, all I do is throw all of my own things into the dang diaper bag and how stylish is that? Not very. :) Although I do love our diaper bag.
i love love my bag. i do love my diaper bag too. it's a skip hop orange one but this bag is great for short trips (store, swim lessons, co-op, etc.).
you name it and we can do it. starbucks or my house or yours...whatever works. let's do it. :)
