Wow, what a month! November...it's generally mid soccer season and tournament time so you can bet your tooshie we're busy! I feel like we can barely keep up with the house at this time of year but it is so much fun for all of us!
We love going to game to game and to Daddy's game in the late evenings! He is the best Daddy ever for coaching our kids and our biggest thanks (even though he never asks us too) is to watch him. PLUS, Mommy (me) loves to watch him! I miss not seeing on the field - it's always entertaining and he is a great player!

It got a little cold those fall evenings but we come prepared in many layers and blankets! Nothing stops us...unless it's a really late game!

I found this note for Daddy...melt my heart. He is the best coach ever. Every year for fall season, we have a party. The Flames do a party at the P7's house and it is always a blast. We are all so comfortable being together since the girls were in Kindergarten. This team is like family. I love it!

Daddy usually says something special about every girl, this year he decided since it was a late Friday night to bypass that so the families could get home for our game early the next morning but man, the kids really wanted to hear their "compliments". The girls made several comments "we missed our compliments". The man, is so thoughtful and I know that week was hectic with 7 games that next day + 2 parties I don't think Daddy could hold much more in his head. He made sure to let them know, they were appreciated and that families were his favorite out of all 4 teams. Like I said, they are truly like family.

I giggled...the girls all jumped on him! He never hugs or gives more than a high five in fear that it would be taken the wrong way. It's just better for him to remain as professional and distant in terms of affection or positive reinforcement. He doesn't single out anyone and tries to focus on everything as a team. But, the girls all ran up to give him a hug. I was laughing because his hands were up in the air for the most part. I said "honey, the parents are here...you can put your arms down!" Hahahah!
Tsunami had a rough season. The girls are playing much more physical and the game + the girls are changing. You know
changing. They are going to have to learn how to play with their new "selves" and not be discouraged by other teams pushing or shoving. They are a great team and are capable of playing a much higher level of soccer than they gave themselves credit for. I hope they regain the confidence in the league they're playing now. They are great girls!

Isa's besties at Blazing Onion. It was another easy team party. The families ate and the girls clumped together to be silly with each other.

I always cry. This picture isn't very good but I was kind of far away. He said some great things about our Isa and she deserved every compliment. She has worked her tail off to keep up with her school work, soccer and most importantly she's strived for perfection with it all. WE are so proud of her!

We had tournaments. We played in the Turkey Shoot, the Rec Cup and another Turkey Jamboree and Miss Madi was
done. She sprawled out on the grass and said "is this the last one?" What a good sport that kid can be sometimes! She's a stinker but she is good about tagging along with us!
Then...after soccer parties and three tournaments was Thanksgiving. We ate at home with the G - side and then went to my family's home.

Appetizers - Bacon Wrapped Jalapenoes, crackers + cresent wrapped Brie with raspberry jam, BBQ Pork, Chips + G-side's famous onion dip and football.

Salad, Mac and Cheese, Stuffing - Turkey, Green Bean Casserole, Mashed Tators ad Ham :)

Isa, Nana and I baked. Isa made sugar cookies, Nana made a chocolate pecan tart and I made white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies - YUM.

The bird.

Our friends that are practically family...they are family. Cristina and Enrique came over and hung out. We always have a house full of laughter when they are around!

Kids charging for comics and drawings. They made a killing! I had to stop them and tell them it was going to deduct from their Christmas presents. Nana felt so guilty after that she wrote me the sweetest apology letter. I love her. She's such a good kid!
