It was Jingle Bell Dash day...so downtown was packed. We headed down towards Pike Place. We stopped at Starbucks (shocker, I know), drank out coffee and chatted. Then, headed to Pike to eat at Mee Sum Pastry and sit by the water. We gobbled up lunch, Grandpa cleaned poo off of Miss Madi's shoe (after we told her "don't run around in the grass, Madi! There's probably poo!") and headed to the gum wall. We can't get enough of this germ filled place!

Grandpa Eddie's Birthday + Holiday Tradition
I love this holiday tradition. A nice trip downtown Seattle to see the Carousel, pick out our annual ornament, eat at Mee Sum Pastry and browse Pacific Place. A blast, right? Our thoughts exactly.
My sweet kids after I threatened to not leave the mall without a nice picture even if it took all day! Yes, I'm that kinda Mom. The one that wants lasting memories at the expense of few minutes of misery from my kiddos. I love them too much to not make them take pictures.

It was starting to rain a little bit so they were cold and wanted to chew gum, stick it on the wall and move on. But...not without a picture of course.
Someone has a new obsession...it's called gum. And, she was the only G6er who kept their gum. Her and I sat by each other on the Carousel. I love this tradition. It's just not Christmas without a ride on the Carousel in the heart of downtown Seattle.
The girls were so happy that Daddy jumped on a horse with them! He is a big kid himself so he was so happy to join in on the fun!
