Daddy had his birthday Sunday. This is the first time in a couple years we haven't been camping during his birthday. It's kinda nice to be home every once in awhile and enjoy doing traditional birthday stuff.
I made a plea to his buddies highly suggesting they go golfing for his birthday. My brilliant planned worked and they swooped him up for a day of golf. I got up early made him a latte and homemade mixed berry scones to take along for a fun day of golf with the boys. Then, I went to the store to do some last minute shopping things for our special dinner for Daddy.

Dessert 2 - warmed boysenberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries with vanilla icecream + crushed cinnamon graham crackers.
Um, he didn't really want me to post this but I am. We sang happy birthday but since I was carrying the dessert I didn't have my camera so I made them do a RE do and they don't do RE dos very well. BUT, it's also the only picture of all of them I took that night since I was the Chef/Dishwasher for the evening.
We had a traditional G6 Movie Night and snuggled with the Birthday Boy. We were so happy the day was one of the most relaxing enjoyable days for Daddy in a long time. Well deserved.

We have done the birthday song re-do plenty of times. It is never quite the same, but it's better than nothing!
