Spring Soccer for the big girls is over. I'm hoping I can post Nana's picture soon. They're cupcake frosted faces after their last game was pretty classic. Isa ended her season with one of her good friends, So-So leaving to play Select Soccer. It was hard for Isa because she made the decision not to play rec and they were so close that So-So leaving has been really hard for Isa. She really enjoyed playing with her. BUT, she has also became close with all of the other girls on her team now. S0-So and her started the Tornadoes together then Tsunami so it was very comfortable this last season. They all seem to mesh well together as a team. It's hard to see a player go but at the same time it's what she needs to do for herself. We have made the decision for our family to play recreational soccer. Isa loves soccer but likes her free time too. Maybe later after middle school but right now, we're happy in recreational soccer! PLUS, it gives Coach Daddy the chance to still coach the little kids.
We are so fortunate to be surrounded by so many great families. Our teams are like families to us and we enjoy all of our teams our kids play on. We are sad to see So-So leave but are happy for her new opportunties and wish her the best of luck!
