Potato Fashion Show

I'm still battling a gross sinus infection along with some other fun stuff so I didn't get any pictures of the kids in their green for St. Patrick's Day. Boo. I begged Isa to take pictures of Nana's Potato Fashion Show the morning of because Daddy was taking them to school so I could rest.

Nana's potatoes took her 2 hours and 13 minutes. I only know because she kept telling all of us. I love her. She really spent a lot of time on this.

I asked her a few questions:

Me: What's it for?
Nana: St. Patrick's Day.
(I guess I was supposed to guess that - I had no idea. It's her class tradition. So to her, it was a "duh" moment. I was/am still confused but I'll go with it.)

Me: How are you being graded?
(As this was her homework journal assignment I was curious how they'd grade it being the Tiger Mom I am - just kidding! - I need to know these things.)
Nana: We aren't being graded. It's our creation. You can't grade creations.
(My bad.)

Me: Sooo...I'm going to miss it. Mommy feels sick still. Is that ok?
Nana: Sure, Momma.
(Insert guilt here. I hate missing stuff especially when it took her soo long to do. She was very understanding but still...guilt.)

My clever Nana used our leftover pizza box for her stage.

She made ♥ eyes. How cute.
