November Snow

After the long soccer weekend...we came home that evening to leftovers (thank goodness!) and showers. Daddy promised them Movie Night since Friday night we couldn't because we had to be at the field by 7:30am.

The kids watched Toy Story 3 and ate dinner. But while Isa and Madi were finishing up I came downstairs to Dev and Nana reading Dev's book together.

I thought it was the sweetest thing to see them cuddled up together reading. I thought they'd be all over each other wrestling or fighting. Pleasantly surprised by their exemplary behavior that evening.

Still warms my heart.

Monday morning...we moved a bit slowly and at 7am it started snowing here...then by 8:30am I was debating if school was a good idea. Well, after mulling over it with Denise (who's kids go to our school) and Husband I decided to keep them home. Luckily because I hear it was a zoo. The roads were horrible and we were cuddled up at home.

Very rarely do you wish for a snow day...and boy did I wish - and get one! After that weekend, we needed it. Now, we get to enjoy of week of being Thankful. By Monday, we'll be thankful the snow is gone and they are back in school! Bwahahah!

I'm ready for the snow to go away! Especially when it threatens my turkey day plans.

Hope you guys are staying warm!
