Nana's class is so neat...they celebrate fall in non traditional way. They go in head first into Autumn with their Autumn Olympics.
Last year, Nana's team won Gold. She was hoping this year she'd be gold too but she won Bronze. Her team was the Yellow Flames. Each team member choses what they'd like to do in the Olympics. Nana chose bobbing for apples and the chocolate cream pie contest.
I missed her doing the actual events because I had to check in on Isa's class and correct math but I got to each lunch with just her. :) Thanks, Grandpa Eddie for watching the Tiny one.
She was so proud of her apple bobbing skills. And, loved her team - Yellow Flames.
Last year Nana's event was The Ooey Gooey Southwestern Surprise. She had to dig her hand in this pot and retrieve eyeballs (golf balls) from the BOTTOM of it. Her buddy, Mia did it and poor Mia looked like she was going to lose her lunch. Poor thing! Nana was so happy she didn't do that this year. She loved her events! Nancy and Sue are her teachers and I can't tell you enough how much I love them!
I thought I had the video on...when I didn't so that's why you just watched an 11 second video and probably sea sick!
THRILLER!
The Middle Schoolers at the kids' school worked on this. They learned it from Thrill The World and the money goes towards the Make a Wish Foundation. It's a way for them to give back once again and do something extraordinary.
PS I've got to be one of the worst videographers! Sorry if I make you sea sick!
It's a spooky weekend...more to come!
