Um, hi - this is a story about two friends who met at a certain coffee establishment became best friends with two little girls that became friends as well.
Rach and I go back - way back, back into time. 10 years ago I met her through a hiring spree at a certain coffee establishment. I was interviewing her with daughter in the stroller and completely vibed with her. We were two mommies with two young girls trying to do it all.
We've been through each other's marriages and 10 kids later it was like we didn't skip a beat. They live about 40 miles from us so since we've moved we haven't seen them with 10 kids schedules tend to conflict! OH, wait there was a run-in in downtown Seattle during the holiday season - but that doesn't count! Hugging in the middle of crossing street in front of Nordstrom...yeah, we won't count that encounter. WE were beyond thrilled to see them. 4 years later we made it happen. FINALLY. We had a relaxing day at the zoo - taking a trip down memory lane (as the zoo was our first play date 10 years ago) and letting the girls yack together appreciating that no one was in diapers. Dev was threw the moon being surrounded by boys...well, at first he was timid or intimidated which ever. He is not used to there being more than one male. :) But he fell right into the testerone of it all.
We had oodles of fun with the M8 and we miss you already. Before we left, we vowed to not wait so long to see each other! Right, Rach? PS send me Palm's soccer schedule! :)
