She didn't get very far in the water but she loves playing in the sand.

Saturday early morning, Husband ended up getting sick so our plans of him working and me weeding turned into something different. My brother and sister spent the night at the L4's so I swooped them up to bring them to Renton...but it was Renton River Days and traffic was nasty. So, when I got to my Mom's house she was prepping for a party she was catering. My Grams would be home alone in the heat.
So, I decided there was no better way to spend my day then have some Granny time myself. Grandma got in my car and drove up to my house.
I loved hanging with this lady...even though she was trying to take care of my sick husband vs relaxing. We had to plop her down and make her watch chick flicks so she'd actually RELAX with us. Husband and I loved being with just her. Even if she thinks my coffee makes her eyelashes curl at attention! It's hard to break the Starbucks tricks of the trade sometimes! Sorry, Grams! But thanks for hanging ol' lady! :)
