Cousin Playdate

Playdates are fun. My goal for the summer is do something out of our area once a week - ie Seattle, Alki, visiting friends in the south end - just to get us doing stuff we wouldn't normally do. The kids have enjoyed their lazy days and adventures and by getting out once a week I think it is the perfect balance for us.

This week we took our lil' cousin, Livi with us on our Seattle Adventure to the Seattle Children's Museum. Her Momma, our Aunt works not too far and walked over to spend the time with us. The kids enjoyed special time with their Aunty as well as hanging with their lil' cousin.

After the Museum, we had a picnic lunch at the Japanese Gardens on our way home. The kids swang on the swings afterwards...I think I tuckered them all pretty good.

The reward? A quiet evening with my tuckered blobs watching a movie. I love summer!

F-U-N! I don't think that we have ever been to the Japanese Gardens. It looks beautiful there! Maybe a good place for photo taking?
