Musically Isa

Whew! This week has been something for our Isa.

We are SO proud of her and the way she has handled it all.

  • Her big Olympics Project was due - her language class breaks their curriculum into medals. Her Gold Medal was to do a 300 word essay. She chose Eleanor Roosevelt and read many sources to back up her essay. It was months in the making and we finished it up this week!
  • Last soccer game for outdoor! She is already missing it! But she played amazing last game and we are so proud of her progress as a player. You can tell she loves it out there and is determined to become better! Good work, lovey!
  • Choir Solo - yes, I said solo. She sang a small part but none the less with the week she's had if it were me, I might've cracked under pressure. Not her. She's extraordinary and we are blown away at the person she is becoming!
  • Orchestra Concert - same night - she played with her orchestra first then, sang. As I said, she was amazing. We were blown away. The L4 and C6 came - Grandpa Eddie was sick! - to support her and it meant the world, so thank you guys, we know how hectic end of year happenings can be so it meant so much to us and Isa to have you there.

Okay, on to the good stuff! Enjoy!

Her singing solo.

She hates onions. Hates. So, she was looking right at Daddy singing this one! :)

Orchestra. What a progression from last time!

GOod Job Isa! What is this song about Pizza? I need to have a talk with that choir teacher. I remember we sang about Chocolate once in a school program. So odd. They should stick to the Beatles.

Wow Isabelle is SO musically inclined! She has an amazing voice and is such a wonderful violinist, I hope she keeps both of them up forever! :) Thanks for posting these Mommy.

@nikki: thank you - i have no idea what that song is about. i swear, i can't stand some of their mash ups. but as glee proves it's no easy feat! :)

@sarah: oh, thank you so much! she loves them both and we hope to continue for as long as we can. :)

I thought I commented on this one? Argh!
I said that we were so impressed to hear that she had 2 solos! She was amazing! If only the teacher could have gotten the mics fixed so that we could hear them better!
Nice job, Isa!
