Isa's SURPRISE 10th BIRTHDAY!

She was surprised! It took her 1/2 the night to realize we weren't going skating (this weekend - we promised her next weekend; she could go with Daddy).

This was her in the morning right before Birthday Pancakes! She stayed home from school because she was battling a cold and needed all the good health vibes for a fun filled 10th birthday! She thought she was going to have a skating party on Saturday (today) and have a sleepover too. So, she was being cautious with all the yuckies floating around. Her friend, Izzie was supposed to hang with her but was sick with strep throat. PLAN B - Daddy takin' her and Kay (C6's daughter) out. We invited her friends over what was supposed to be a small party. Small is never really small in our world. With 8 kids between Denise and I - it's already 12 person party.

Friends getting ready for the birthday girl to arrive!

Aunty Tina made green cupcakes - Denise spelled out ISA for her with the mini cupcakes.

SURPRISE! Kay (on the couch in the brown shirt) went with Isa and Daddy to Wendy's while her friends arrived and Kay had no idea what was happening with the surprise party. She thought she was making cupcakes and spending the night with Isa and going skating the next day. HA! Fooled ya! I think it took Kay and Isa awhile to realize they were at the party! They kept saying "so, we're not skating? Are we skating tomorrow?"

Happy 10th Birthday, to our sweet Isa Marie!

Get that 10th candle!

She is still stunned by the whole suprise birthday!

Presents!

They did makeovers - Haley (C6's oldest) did make up and I did nails for the girls! Then, it was a movie and bed...well, bed for me and Daddy at least. They stayed up until 2am...and were up at 7am - parents loved me for that!

12:30am - nighty night, girls!

Early in the morning - 8am, I got up with them and we made grippy socks with puff paint.

Haley makin' breakfast! She was the oldest at the party. She is C6's oldest - 2 years older than Isa. So, she helped (or made...whatever) breakfast. She baked cinnamon rolls and apple cinnamon muffins with some porkies on the side.

Then, Daddy took them outside for some soccer playing. The girls kinda left at staggered moments - 12pm-2pmish. I swear the day just swept by. We all had so much fun! Thanks to all of our friends (and Grandpa Eddie!!) who made her surprise birthday a hit!

Maybe you should do the youtube thing for the videos? The one that I did was kinda long!
