Tour Guides

If you were lost in Ikea - which is not hard to do! Who would you want guiding you? I felt completely safe with Pay and Dev guiding us the way. Pay is Denise's (from the C6) youngest - they are a little over 2 weeks apart and the best of friends. We made the trek to Ikea with these two tour guides and my crazy potty training daughter, Madi.

We got our Swedish meatball fix and Dev and Pay got their hot dog fix. All while adventuring through the rough terrain of Ikea, they were all well behaved and tons of fun. Denise made the ride down pleasant (and quiet) with a movie (Star Wars I) played in the back for the kiddies. Very smart - we actually had uninterrupted conversation. Weird. Even Miss Madi got into it back there. Laughing and giggles...it's what it is all about as a 4 year old.

::Ahem:: excuse Dev's ketchup/mustard stained face...he's still cute though, right? They had their little maps and pencils figuring out how to get where. Denise totally played along; she made it a problem solving game - they loved it! She would say - "If I was in the restaurant...how do I get to the bathrooms?" And, they'd tell ya. Like I said...awesome tour guides!

I love Pay's concentrated face. Dev must've located something...I can't remember what. But he definitely has the "A-HA!" look in his eyes! Thanks, Denise and Pay for driving and inviting us along for the Ikea Adventures!
