Ornament Exchange

I joined this bookclub from Shealynn Benner who also hosted an Ornament Exchange for her blog readers and bookclubbers. Lots of bookclub members participated and we're from all over. Itt was a ton of neat to get to know your bookclubbers on a more personal level by finding out what they liked in an ornament! A lot of the gals from the bookclub are crafters and have Etsy shops. So, naturally I was intimidated by this but wanted to join in because it sounded FUN! I did. And, yes I purchased my ornament. I know, I'm lame. Don't judge. :)

My partner was Robin Hall from our Book Club. We have united for Team Peeta. Read Hunger Games and then join us. We had an intense (very) book discussion about this and her and I had similar views. Kinda funny because we both have sons too...interesting. But anyway, I was excited that she was partner. She sent me a very nice ornament (handmade, of course). I tried to post the picture of the one I got but it's sold out. That says something, right? It was popular so I picked a good one...sorry, just justifying my lameness. :)

Darling. Thank YOU, Robin!

Don't worry about your lameness! =P Need I remind you how INSANELY busy you are and how perfect your kiddies are because of you? You rock! I saw on a blog how to decorate ornaments...maybe we should get together next year and do that?

I totally enjoyed the ornament exchange, and I happen to know for sure that both of our buddies loved the ornaments that we bought from Pottery Barn. No shame in that!
