Dear, Sun:
I love when you're out and my kids can play. You brighten their day when they can play in water and strut their bathing suits. However, I do not like it when I feel like a popsicle and am sweating hot bullets. You seem to forget that 4 kids gave me some extra fluff so my body tempature sometimes feels like a thousand degrees and I curse your name. I tell you to go away and never come back. But, hopefully you know I'm just a big baby and I love your presence. Just be like 10 degrees cooler and we're like BFFs.
Sincerely,
Hot Momma of 4 G6ers.
Okay, thanks for letting me get that out. Now, on to our fun day. We went over to the Ignacio's House. Sarah is a friend of mine since like 1991 and her daughter turned 1 with her step-daughter who turned 15 today - cause for celebration. We went over there and they had a pool. Smart on a hot day...plus my kids love anything with water involved.
And, the easiest salad ever...email if you want the recipe.
The ride home, I got stuck in Torch Light Parade traffic but I was actually happy to see our area was cooling off more quickly than the south was. The ride home was silent...my favorite. Well, Husband just got home from his long work week...gotta run.
