Spring Break? What Spring Break? I spent Spring Break not having Spring Break. I had some plan fun activities planned which was probably my first mistake. I didn't share what we had planned with the kids (ie going to the zoo, visiting friends, some beach explorations, etc.) so the only let down was held by
me. But that was enough.
The weather was cruddy all week as well. Snow? Rain? Is this Spring or what? I think at this point we all feel mutual about the weather. Yes, even I who adores the rain wishes it would rain a bit warmer. Cold rain. I'm over it.
The week started off with my Mister getting sick. The poor boy was in a lot of pain. He had an
infection. So, the first day of break was spent at the doc and pharmacy. What a way to start? The next day, Dev felt much better still sore but better so we went to the library to take Nana to get her very own library. She wasn't as interested in getting books last year as she is this year. She was content with the school library and ours at home. But, now that she is reading chapter books she wants a bigger selection. This is exciting for me, as a Momma, I love to see her excited to read and trying to find the right book for herself. Isa had a play date that day at her friend, Livi's house so the 3 kiddies and I spent some time at the library.

She looks so proud in this picture of her book picks and her new Library card. The Librarian even had her sign it on the back to make it official. Daddy said they didn't do that with Isa so that's pretty neat. I remember getting my own card and signing it too.
Dev wanted to take pictures that same day of his elaborate train display. He worked hard putting the tracks together that day. Then, he asked if he could borrow the camera to take pictures of his masterpiece.

Cargo and Oil Tankers getting ready for pick up by their trains.

All of his favorite trains on the line.

He did an awesome job!!
The next few days were spent with me being sick. I had tonsillitis and strep. So, we were home bound the next few days and finally left the house Saturday for double Birthday Saturday with Pay and Ella. Sunday was relaxing. Daddy worked. We chilled at the C6's house and had Livi over to play. It was so nice on Sunday I couldn't believe it was on the very last day of Spring Break!

Emma and Nana eating Popsicles and enjoying the
sun!!!

This is Miss Kay. Madi ♥s Kay. Kay is so sweet. She caters to Madi's every whim. You know when Kay has stopped because Madi lets out a shriek. Then, Kay comes running...she spoils Madi and Madi soaks it up!!
Madi in the C6's tunnel. She loves to crawl in their long tunnel. As you can see, she feels like home with her pants off. Lately, I can not keep the clothes on! It drives me crazy! She is always taking off her clothes when she gets a chance. She must love the freedom and control/ability to do so. I usually roll with it at home but we were at the C6's so I thought she should keep them on. She didn't think so which is a sign she is too comfortable over there!
Dev and Pay playing legos together. Dao helped them build a big house at Pay's party so Dev went back into Lego mode and wanted to continue what they started.
It was so relaxing on Sunday. After Daddy worked, Isa had soccer practice and the little ones got ready for another week. It went by too quick and I think we deserve a re-do on Spring Break! :)
