We went to the Green Festival. We had a few goals in mind. Husband wanted to see the
green building materials, I wanted to see and talk to the health and beauty companies along with finding more about my worms for composting and the kids wanted to see...food samples. Every thing food related wasn't really new...I think they were expecting the Bite of Seattle or something. I swear they ate lunch before we went! They were in awe at how many people cared about the Environment. It was
packed so maneuvering a stroller and an Ergo-ed baby + 2 more kids was hard to manage. But, Grandpa Eddie joined us and as always made it tons easier to see what we wanted. There was lots of education to learn and things to try. So I definitely recommend it if this is a change you'd like to take...then you don't have to wonder,
where do I begin? All the companies represented were very knowledgeable and helpful with all inquiries.

We then go to hang out in Seattle. Fun times always. We went to Pike where Grandpa got fish for a dinner with friends and we got to walk around. We stopped at
Seattle Coffee Works right off Pike Street. They do foam art, my favorite because foam is my favorite part of my latte. You're guaranteed a good cup if they take the time to make pretty art on your foam. I had a yummy white chocolate mocha that I'll be craving until the next time I go there.
Friday, we skipped school to kinda get an early start to Spring Break. We had doc appointments that morning, ran some errands and then chilled. My lovely children really do play well together. I love how Isa still enjoys to play with Nana and Dev. Miss Rust, Nana's Kindergarten Teacher sent Nana home with
Gak on Thursday afternoon. So, when it was play time...they chose to play with it.

Isa making peas with
Gak. She was prepping them for her
saute pan to be prepared with a Hamburger for me, I believe.

They had pretend customers all day they were serving. They said they were exhausted by the end of the day. I told them...yeah and now you get to do all the dishes from your customers!!
Gak Recipe
Solutin A:
Solution B:
- 4 teaspoons borax
- 1 1/3 cups warm water
- Mix together until--completely dissolved
Pour solution A into Solution B. Do not mix! Lift Gak out and knead into shape.
Here are some tips:
- Borax can be found in the laundry detergent section of a grocery store.
- If you are going to half the recipe... use only half of Solution A and mix the whole amount of Solution B. The results will be the same.
- This is important..This is the only way you can half the recipe. Do not double the recipe and do not reuse Solution B (the borax and water), use only Elmer's glue.

Ah! I am jealous. I really wanted to go, but it just wasn't in the cards this weekend. I'll have to wait until next year I guess!
Oh, the Miss Rust's do the coolest stuff! We ♥ them!!
I'm kinda glad we ended up not going, sounds like it was super, duper crowded.
I think I could get all the info from you, anyway. Right, my GREEN friend?!
