My kids have been on and off sick for the last...month. Isa and Nana missed Monday and Dev went to school, Isa went Tuesday and Nana missed school then all of them were back at school on Wednesday but then I gotta call from school and Isa had a fever. We all went to the doc-Madi and her had viral infections. Fevers and Colds (colds deserves a capital C). Friday were good. Saturday were good. I'm washing disinfecting...things are good. I put new sheets, clean clothes and wipe down doorknobs, counters-etc on Sunday still good. I check every one-every one is amped and ready to go with no fevers. We get to the Bowling Alley for my brother's 9th Birthday...Nana has a fever. I carry a thermometer and Tylenol (infant and children's) in my car...checked her temp 102.3. Great. So, I give her some Tylenol and apple juice and tell her to chill out. Madi looks warm so I check her 100.1. Hers could be a teething/cold combo she's getting 4 teeth in right now and they always come in clusters...poor baby.
The two below are happy as clams and are ready to bowl. They are thankful that their sisters are troopers and they get to bowl for a few while I sit with the sickies.
Dev and Isa before bowling.
Madi after her Tylenol with Livi sitting and waiting for her turn to bowl.
Nana waiting for her Sprite to come after taking Tylenol. Great Grandma gave her lots of hugs and cuddles. She was so concerned for Nana.
Livi and Dev. After this picture, Dev sat down (previously no fever when we arrived) with a fever of a 102.5 that was our queue to start heading out. 3 out of 4 is my limit. By the time, Dev got his fever Nana was feeling better and wanted to bowl at least once before we went. How could I deny her when she had been looking forward to it all weekend long? One bowl (or two) and then the party was over and it was time for cake.
I finally got a picture of the Birthday Boy. Lucky 9! For those who don't know, my Mom and I were pregnant at the same time. Isa came 6 weeks early making her older than Tyler (my brother) and she relishes in that every chance she gets. She is older than her Uncle.

Tyler's Group picture with all of his friends and family.
We left as soon as possible and headed out to get some soup. Soup and crackers for the achy kiddies. I had to stock pile for what could be another week indoors. :)

Wow! Look at the size of the family now! So many kiddos, I love that sweet Gabby is holding a baby everytime I see her!
Dev's cheeks look pretty rosie in the pics, poor guy. Nana looks like all the fun has been sucked from her. She just doesn't look look the same when she' sick, does she?
