Show 'n Tell

Today was Dev's very 1st Show 'n Tell experience. We found out that after Winter break we'd be able to bring something to share on our snack day. After, 1 week of waiting it was our turn. A week in a 3 year old's world is forever. We had to explain on our calendar at home how many school days it was and tell him who was bringing in something every time until it was his turn. You'd think the boy would've jumped outta bed this morning but he was as slow as a turtle. He didn't want to change out of his PJs so I let him wear them underneath his clothing. He claims that his Mariners PJs is his Star Wars uniform which is partly why he didn't want to change. He wore his Star Wars shirt (his coveted piece of clothing next to the Harley Davidson shirt he wears on the off chance I actually have to wash his Star Wars shirt).

Dev showing everyone how the Star Wars helmet should be worn. This is the first picture I've gotten of him with it on because he is so quick to take it off when he sees I have the camera. He knew it was the one picture I was longing for so therefore he wasn't going to give it to me without a fight. :)

Teacher Connie put it on and used the voice changer and said "Hi, boys and girls!" Dev thought that was pretty funny to watch his teacher put on the helmet and pretend to be a Storm Trooper.

We also frosted Winter Trees and decorated them with sprinkles.

And, no that wasn't my snack. I bring lame healthy stuff like apple cinnamon muffins, apples and Veggie Booty - a personal favorite in our house. These are all Dev's favorite yummies at home that he wanted to make. I thought I had too much food but the evidence of it being gone suggests otherwise. I then brought home Will, Julian (it was Fran's cleaning day) and Dev for a play date at our house before getting the big girls after school. Madi had a play date at Gillian's house (who is CeCe's sister-Nana's soccer buddy and Co-Op friend) while I was at the Co-Op...more on that soon. Christiana said she took lots of photos so I'm very excited to see how my youngest first official play date went.

PS thank you Christiana and Gillian for having Madi over this morning!

He was so cute with that huge helmet! His Star Wars obsession cracks me up!
