Halloweenies!

Being a Preschooler and being able to dress up and go to school is so fun! The girls were so upset that they couldn't wear their costumes but Dev could. They were bummed but they had a half day so they could come home and dress up before noon hit (I even threw a piece of candy after school with pizza for lunch)...they got over it. :)

Dev and Livi dressed up. A Prince Charming and a Lady Pirate. She did the cutest "Argh!" I've ever seen.

My Prince Charming, my Pirate Girl, My Witch and My Pumpkin. To get them to pose in the middle of their sugar high was next to impossible. This is the best one every other one is Madi banging her head on the couch and smiling after the camera has clicked. Toddlers.

Last weekend, Husband carved pumpkins with the kiddies and this was his political statement. I thought it was so great! When I drove up I totally knew who it was. Good job, Daddy!

Halloween was fun. Halloween was mellow. The kids just hung out at home. Erica stayed with us Wednesday through Saturday so we had fun with her. Her first Halloween since she left the States for Germany in 1991. We did the mall thing because it was raining and I didn't want to brave downtown Edmonds with my recovering kiddies. So, we did the mall thing. The kids had fun and we went at 4pm instead of 5pm to avoid the crowds (it officially started at 5pm). That was great and Erica and I stayed home with to hand out candy to our 2 trick or treaters! Husband took the 3 oldest out. Nana and Dev were back within 2 houses because they were cold and scared. So, Daddy and Isa braved our big street on their own. About an hour later, Husband was back without Isa. She met up with her friends and trick or treated with them. Mellow Halloween for us and that was perfect. It was exactly what our family needed. We watched Meet the Robinsons and snacked on candy.
