I don't think I've ever posted pictures from Chess Club...well mainly because last couple years I wasn't the Coordinator so hence I was never there just for pick up. But, this year I am the Coordinator. I have really enjoyed it and have been learning a thing (a lot of things) or two with my own Chess playing. Isa is in the Intermediate group. Her coach will probably bump her to Advanced in the Winter but there are so many older kids (boys) who are avid Chess players that I'd be afraid she'd be on the bottom of the ladder. Coach Matt does a ladder system so that you play against some of your standing which is a great idea because you learn so much that way (at least in Chess). Anyway, here are some pictures. :)

They are both 3rd Graders. They do soccer, Girl Scouts (Brownies) and Chess together...the last 2 years they were in the same classes as well but this year they aren't. Goof balls together. If there's laughter in the quiet chess playing area it's those two.
