Nana getting her balance before making her rounds skating.
Nana's Daisy Troop. So, Girl Scouts this year has made Daisies 2 years (K-1st) instead of making the 1st Graders Brownies. Which I like- more use out of their vest/apron. They are way cuter, in my opinion. Abbi (sitting next to Nana) is wearing hers. From left to right is Sophie, Sadie, Jenna, Abbi and Nana.
Isa got to stay and finish the Skating Party (it was until 6pm). Nana had soccer tonight at 6pm so we had to leave at 5:30pm to get ready for soccer. They wanted to dance to one last song...the Cha Cha Slide is what they call it...
So, we finished dancing and rushed to soccer...now? Dinner. I don't think Friday could've come at a better time. I hosted a Room Parent Tea for Isa's school that's 17 classes and 400 parents with a team of 2. We organized Room Parents for each class and gather volunteers as well. Thanks to Denise and Grandma Barrel, they saved my life more than once this week with helping me with the little ones. I did Enrichment (for the first time this year) with Dev's class. We did an apple project that I got at this site. It is a preschool website with tons and tons of great ideas. We did apple necklaces, painted cardstock shaped apples with apples cut in half (used the die cut machine at Lasting Memories) and read 10 Apples Up on Top. It was a lot of fun. I need to polish up on my reading upside down skills. You'd think I would have that down already with 4 kids but reading to 4 is different than reading to a class of 14 (19 with adults).
