Summer = Sick Kids?

I spent all day fluffing their pillows, bringing them their unfiltered apple juice (which is by the YUMMY) and being their personal DVD operator. I need to increase my hourly wage. :)

Ooh, mad Madi reaching to climb up on my leg.

She was mad until she saw the light flash and then she smiled.

What is going on? Beautiful day Sunday-Father's Day-kids were healthy. Monday, we hang out at home. We had to help in Nana's class but that was it. The girls came home, we went to swim lessons-Dev's feeling a bit sluggish. My youngest 3 have had colds for a week now. I thought they were getting it over it fine. After swim lessons (we were there for all 3 sessions because we took Kendie) we took Isa and Kendie to their soccer scrimmage. Super. Nana and Dev are kicking Isa's ball around-things are great. 3rd Quarter comes and the kids are whining. It's the day I talk myself into believing. They're cranky from the long day. By now, it's almost 7pm. We get home all 3 have tempatures. Low temps but none the less I suspect the best is yet to come. Tuesday morning-day of Nana's dress rehearsal for Tap and Ballet and her last day of school-they wake up with HIGH fevers. Something isn't right. I call the doc and get all three of them in. Ready for this?
  • Nana has a sinus infection.
  • Dev has strep throat.
  • Madi has a right ear infection
  • Isa is healthy and gets to enjoy her swim lessons (I had to call and get my lessons credited for next session for Dev and Nana) and Summer soccer!!

Urgh. Welcome to Summer G6 kiddies!!
