- gather small twigs close to 6 inches long, pine cones, moss or dried grass (not recommended that you pluck grass as that kills the grass)
- create a habitat that encloses the small creature safe from larger more ferocious creatures
- decorate with flowers (we made a white flower garden in ours), raffia, leaves (make a great roof!)
- leave undisturbed for a couple days so that small creatures have the opportunity to settle in
Nana and Emily-Anne building their Fairy home.
Success! Quite the builders they were!
I'm giggling because really it was Fairy House Building Project but they wouldn't know the difference. All they care about is building. We were invited by Bryce from our Co-Op to go and experience this and since Dev and Bryce have expressed that they are professional builders we knew this was right up their ally. :) I had an early (8am) meeting with our current Marketer, Anabel, for the Co-Op and they had expressed they didn't know what to do that morning so I suggested our plans and her and EmilyAnn were able to make it. Afterwards, Nana had a game at 12pm so we ran to the Edmonds Market after our building and I swapped cars with Daddy because it had started to rain. Isa had horseriding day camp with her Girl Scout's Troop that I dropped her off at before we went building. :)
I forgot to mention Tiny. Tiny was having a Daddy Morning. They spent time together all morning eating peaches and oatmeal and running up and down the hall probably (it's Tiny's favorite thing to do).
