This face down below...she makes that face whether it's her first time trying something or if she has it every day. If it's sour, bitter, sweet-that is her eating face. I call it her food strike face because I have never had a child who prefered to nurse above all else. All the delicious food we're introducing her to and this is the face she makes?! What's up with that?
Her sucking on her Rice Mum at Isabelle's Retreat for church.
More pictures to come of Isa at her Retreat. This last week the kids were battling, yet another cold after the stomach nastiness that flew through our house. Nana is enjoying her 3rd FULL week of school and activities in a row. The girls both start soccer this weekend. Daddy is coaching Nana's team and Isa is joining a team with a group girls she is unfamiliar with so I'm happy for that. Fresh new faces and a chance to build on more friendships. :)
Knitting so over Spring Break I was watching tutorial after tutorial and finally casted on (learned about 3 different techniques) but now trying to actually knit. Tricky stuff (or I'm just not coordinated). I was explaining to Isa about crocheting thinking maybe it would be easier then move on to knitting and she liked that idea. I will get picks soon. She is learning to all she can and is a great sponge. Nana has expressed interest primarily in knitting but I told her all good knitting comes from skills of crocheting. :)
