Madi and Daddy swinging. :)Can I just Saturday was like a breath (literally) of fresh air? The kids were ecstatic Friday (afternoon/night) and Saturday evening because we had so much fun at Edmonds City Park. A blast, even. We just played and played for 2-3 hours both days. Friday afternoon, Isa started her reading and I said "let's go to the park" and we left at 3pmish and didn't get home until after 7pmish right before Isa and Daddy ran off to the Mariners game at which they WON! I only knew because I watched only because I knew Isa and Daddy were there. Saturday we opted out of our Roasted Chicken idea for dinner to have a picnic at the park. We got there around 5pmish and didn't leave until the sun was setting. It was awesome! The kids had fun. Friday, Nana met Zoe and Zoe came over to spend the night and Saturday, Isa saw the same girly she played with Friday there again. So, we exchanged numbers and Isa has a new buddy. Saturday-I predicted to be crazy hectic because the girls had soccer and Dev had a birthday party and right after was more fun at the park. Surprisingly, no melt downs ALL weekend. There was a perfect amount of fun and down time for them. Hip, hip, Horray!
