4 months old and eating her first Rice Cereal Meal.
Husband asks me today; "Is it too early to start Rice Cereal?" The never ending Parent Debate-when do you start solids? I distinctly remember starting solids (or at least Rice Cereal for Dev at 4 months old) I remember because this was a breast milk break. I call it the "hold 'em over factor" that always determines whether I start solids or not. Rice Cereal I mix a little bit with some breast milk and call it good. I think it helps with motor skills as well not that I want her to talk too soon but it's been told to me (by a pediatrician) that it never hurts to have them start. We're not talking 3 course Rice Cereal Meals just once a day and very little. Just to make the feedings last a little longer than a car ride. She is my hungry hungry baby. She doesn't take a pacifier so you can imagine what it sounds like before she falls asleep. If the car stops, oh Mercy! She is ppppppp-ed off! You can imagine no spontaneous shopping trips, every thing is carefully planned if we go out. She is the exact definition of a creature of habit. We have got her naps and feedings according to the kids' schedule and trust me between Dev's Co-Op, Ballet/Tap, Girl Scouts it surprisingly wasn't too hard to adjust her. She's like her Daddy-feed her, change her (not that he needs changing but you get what I am saying) and settle her down for a nap and she's a happy camper.

Isa wanted a picture of her feeding Tiny Tot. That excitement lasted all of 2 minutes then it was "Mommy, can you feed her?"
Oh yeah, so the second part of my title is Sick Kids because this time of year we're always sick. And, I got a tip from my Naturalist to take wheatgrass so Husband and I bought our 10 pk of 1 ounce shots of wheatgrass and man, it tastes like...GRASS. But, the key is to have citrus immediately after (as with most things your palate adjusts) and it's never as bad as when you first do it. But, you're supposed to take it at night and we felt good every morning. Almost invincible then we ran out. We thought (I thought) we'll be okay. But, NO we all got sick. I can't even call who got it first-I want to say, me. Which usually I'm the last no, I take that back Husband is last. I'm second to last. We stayed home all weekend and then last night our Tiny Tot ran a fever and wouldn't go to sleep. I was up at 1am, 3am and 6:30am (for Isabelle). I'm wishing on a star tonight that I get a full night's rest. She spoiled me. Since she's been born (minus the first day) she has slept 5 hours and increased so now she averages 6 1/2 hours. No joke. So, getting up like that last night was a rough one for me.

A true measure of time. Tiny Tot at 5 days old.

Nana wanted me to post this picture. This was the week that Madi was born and the kids had a party in Nana's bed.
