Music Class!

So on top of soccer...there are school commitments. One being, their annual Spring Concert. Their music teacher, Ms. J conducts it for all of the primary centers - they are split into two concerts. SND seems to always be paired with Pa'Sal Chal so we missed C6's Em performing with her group.

We had soccer practice at 4:30pm (mind you, they get out at 3:50pm) and then we headed straight back to school for Nana's performance leaving Isa with her team and a carpool for her 5:45pm game. Tired yet?

OUR shining Star getting ready to perform her big SPRING CONCERT! She got a speaking part...which meant that she wasn't singing with her overall group. She had 16 lines - so that was HUGE! She worked hard practicing (even I knew them after she helping her!). Her being a 3rd year in primary meant that she gets to audition for a role as a character. Her character was Michelle. Her classmate, Sam called her Michelle and Daddy looked at him like he was nuts - I had to remind him "it's her character in the play!".

Here she is with her Chess Club buddies and fellow students that were characters! There were about 6 kids total that were characters and then they had other special roles for the 3rd years. We were so very proud. Grandpa Eddie came to see her and it meant the world to her! She keeps talking about how her Grandpa came to watch her perform.

I am in love with these 3 ladies. They have been such a support for Nana these last 2 years. Nana has become a better student with great study habits and a compassionate person. Compassion is a tricky one to teach children because the only way for them to truly understand is for them to model the behavior. These ladies are wonderful people and they are contagious.

(My video is not uploading, come back later when I upload it to You Tube first). GRR!)

Oh my goodness, that kid in the tie cracked me up. He looks so confident. Future CEO for sure. Nana looks darling in her sweater too. Love that color!

I love that girl! I wish we could have come earlier to see her in her big part! Dang soccer games!
Her teachers are so amazing! I love how supportive they are of their class!
Great job, Nana!
