Lessons

Lessons are hard. Dev is learning that every one is different and we all have different needs. And that his world is bigger than our house, our city, our state and heck, our country - that everyone experiences different things that mold the person they will become to be.

We know our needs well but what about others? Dev is learning compassion and understanding. Sometimes it's hard to think outside of yourself when you're 5 or 35 but he's working on it.

Hard lessons, I know. We may not agree with the actions of others but that is not a reason to be unkind. Dev is learning that your actions are your own responsibility no one else's. Only you can control what you do to others and once you do it, there's no going back then? Remorse. Apologies. And a big ol' slice of humble pie.

You have to listen to your conscience and make good decisions. It's a never ending lesson...even I am still learning. :)

Hardest lesson ever. And I hate to see their little feelings get hurt, or them hurt others.

Your such a good Mommy! If only all Mommy's talked to their kiddos about compassion and understanding. The world would be a better place. :)
