Well, as I've said - Madi and Daddy had a whirl wind birthday sorta wrapped up in a couple of vacations. Okay, not sorta we did wrap their birthdays in two vacations. I guess I'm still in shock we vacationed back to back.
We had originally planned a birthday dress up party for Madi but that all changed when we decided to go to California and Nevada.
SO, Madi had a Princess Tea Party with her best girlfriend, Ella. Ella is Tyler's (Dev's buddy) sister. Camie's kids and my youngest two are exactly the same ages so our kids have pals since birth. :)
What Princess Tea Time is complete without the appropiate paper dinnerware? Or should I say Teaware?
Thanks for taking pictures, Isa!
Can you tell who's Madi's favorite? Ella and Madi both share a love for Cinderella.
- We made Apple Cinnamon Muffins for their first course.
- Pepperoni Pizza for a main course - Madi's favorite thing to eat ever!
- Isa and Nana made dessert - Brownies with chocolate covered frosting. I love these products - they are an easy recipe to follow for Isa and don't require a mixer.
- Princess Fruit Snacks a special favorite Madi treat.
- Watered down Organic Apple Juice as "tea"
We didn't put anything in the bowls...I was going to put some Veggie Booty but they were so content I didn't really bother with it.
I know you see that mini Tupperware pitcher - yes, I let them pour for themselves. It only made for 3 or 4 spills and overflowing cups. They cracked us up! They were lushes! They couldn't stop drinking. It was like watching their future Happy Hour session eating and drinking on those bar stools giggling with each other!
Ella has these shoes. Everytime, Madi saw them on her it would be like a cat fight for the princess shoes. Shoe obesessions at 3 years old? See, honey there is might be a future in her diva-ness. We can look back when she's some high fashion stylist and know her Dragon Lady personality was just a stepping stone in her fashion career. Anyway, Ella and Tyler got these snazzy shoes for her. No more cat fights over shoes! Hooray!!
A princess item Ella doesn't have. Oh boy! They had a mini cat fight over the comb but we pulled out more purses and all was forgotten. And, of course because they have brothers they put on their princess shoes and purses to go dig in the dirt with the boys!
Thanks, Ella for the fun Princess Tea Time!

It was so fun today because Ella is finally detaching from my hips. She said she wants to see Madi again. Madi and Ella play so peacefully compare to the boys. Can't wait to see them grow up together. Thank you for the fun playdate. Happy birthday again Madi. We love you!!!
@cam: it was cute to see them get all dolled up to go play in the dirt! i'm so glad that ella loved playing with madison. :)
I wish I was that way when I was a kid. Maybe now I could accesorize. Madi's dress is adorable!
